Sanders J. "Joey" Falgout, IIILead Design Consultant
Joey Falgout has been in or around media all his life. Joey loves to tell stories about how he used to skip school just to listen to his favorite morning radio shows as a kid. He did it so much that he made the decision at 15 that he wanted to be a "superstar" (to rip off a really bad movie!). He bugged Mr. Jim Soileau at KVPI/Ville Platte, LA everyday for 2 months until he got his shot on the radio. He froze the first time he opened the mic and some would say has never shut up since.
Joey has since worked in radio in Seattle, New Orleans, Lafayette, Houma, and finally came back home to Central Louisiana in 1997. During that time he has worked doing television commercial voice-over work, and has helped design advertising campaigns for clients from a local level to the international launch of websites.
Joey proudly admits that the "best thing" he's ever done is marry SwampCraft General Manager Brunella Falgout. He has said that "(Brunella) keeps me focused and looking at the bigger picture" . Joey loves to spoil their three children, Kathleen (8), Marayna(6), and Logan(1) and feels that his children keep him honest.
Mr. Falgout is also currently the afternoon drive announcer at Star98.7(KKST-FM)/Alexandria, LA as well as the market Webmaster for AMFM, Inc.'s five websites in Alexandria. Joey's vast media experience and years of internet savvy bring a formidable array of talent to the SwampCraft table.
SC's Lead Design Consultant Joey Falgout (left) receives his diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology earlier this year from Louisiana Technical College/ Alexandria Campus Electronics Department Head George C. Monroe.
